Referring to Dave Torr's email re State of Macquarie Island.



The article makes very interesting reading.  New Zealand puts Australia to 
shame in comparing what they did in removing rats and rabbits from Campbell 
Island to the current status of Macquarie Island.



WWF-Australia has an Online Petition, accessible on 
http://wwf.org.au/macquarie/ that concerned persons may like to sign.
