What a naughty boy !!
Well, there's one dear fellow who'll never get to birders' heaven.
He shall be vigorously repelled at the gate by all those St Peter
birders who never said a word out of place.
It shall be seen that their desks are tidy and their shoes un-muddied.
And they shall be armed to the teeth with their bins, scopes, cameras
and tripods all assiduously defending their egos, their ethics, and
their reputations.
And great platitudinous sermons will be read in stentorian voices from
their text books and from their copies of Schodde and Christidis &
Bowles, notwithstanding the short lifer lists of the readers.
And it shall be decreed that his foul but strangely honest writings
shall be expunged from the archival records and be cast forever into the
deleted file for truthful emails.
And it shall be seen that those at the gate are sadly, sadly, squeaky
clean, and that the intruder has blotted his copybook by speaking his
mind and must needs retire below to where his friends rejoice in his
honesty. Amen.
