As some will recall, the Birds Australia brochure asking for donations to
purchase Newhaven stated "Help us buy a wilderness in Australia's
heartland....for Night Parrots and 33 other threatened species......Night
Parrot once though extinct. Night Parrots landed three metres from trained
observers at Newhaven in 1996. This record has been kept secret since."
Have there been any further sightings (published or kept secret) at Newhaven, I wonder.
