Subject: Notes on some sightings (and non-sightings) at the Western Treatment Plant (Werribee, VIC) Sat 17 FEB (38*C).

Sightings of note:

*       5 Brolga at Summer Lagoon 1.
*       30+ Cape Barren Geese at Paradise Rd (and several other pairs at
other sites).
*       A Black Falcon over Twenty Nine Mile Rd near Summer Lagoon 2.
*       A single Double-banded Plover at the T Section Lagoons.
*       Many Common Tern at several sites.

 

Non-sightings of minor note:

*       No Black-tailed Native-hen.
*       No Red-kneed Dotterel.
*       No Banded Stilt.
*       No Banded Lapwing.
*       No White-winged Black Tern.
*       No Long-toed Stint or Pectoral Sandpiper.
