Thankyou Phillip, I appreciate being reminded of correct use of language. It certainly is not nonsense. Accurate communication is very important. I always read Phillip's comments with interest. I value thoughtful discussion on this site, rather than just "I saw A, B, C,..... bird at 'locality' (often poorly defined) Y ". Like another recent contributor, I always wonder why certain birds are constantly reported. another pedant? and proud of it, Wendy |
