Square-tailed Kite in Melbourne??

I've just had a report of what sounds like a square-tailed kite in Black 
Rock, one of the Bayside suburbs of Melbourne, on Tuesday.  Also reference 
to one reported at Braeside Park a few days before.
My maps suggest this would be unusual - but with live in unusual times!
