My vote would be for Birds of Kenya and Northern Tanzania by Zimmerman, Turner and Pearson. I also have Field Guide to the Birds of East Africa by Stevenson and Fanshawe, but prefer the former. There is also a guide by Von Perlow, but this is pretty useless.

Enjoy your trip. Whatever you do don't miss the Samburu complex of Game Reserves north of Mount Kenya.

Hi everyone
We are going to Kenya for a couple of weeks (lucky us!!) and we need to get
a field guide.

Any suggestions??? Which guide? Where from?

Thanks
