Hi Simon,
Thanks for bringing this up. You're dead right. I forgot to change
this in my notes after I realised my mistake and hence copied them
into my trip report. I'd tentatively identified these birds as
Grey-fronted, but after I saw Yellow-plumed at Hattah realised my
mistake. So, yes, Grey-fronted Honeyeater should be removed from the
trip report and replaced with Yellow-plumed Honeyeater.
Funny really, once you've actually sorted them out in the field,
they're not difficult at all, but when all you have to go by is the
field guide they appear unduly confusing.

went in Northern Vic, my part of the world.
Just a query, you mention Grey-fronted Honeyeater at Melvilles caves.  There
are very few reports of this species from the state of Victoria, with the
only records that I know of  coming from the mallee wilderness areas close
to the SA border. Was this a typo?,any thoughts.?
