If you haven't already clicked on the link, I recommend it.
My view is that we would be foolish to try anything along the lines
suggested by some of the proponents of assisted migration. Anything
undertaken would at best be a piecemeal response for dubious reasons.
Not only would be impossible to relocate an ecology in-toto, but such
interference would be doomed to failure and without a doubt would result in
a host of unpredicted outcomes.
Do read the article! As Laurie said, it's a great topic to kick around!
