Just had a phone call from my grandmother, who lives near Rushcutters Bay,
Sydney. She wants to know about the geese(?) she hears honking down
that way each morning. I am the only birder she knows, so even though I
live in Melbourne, apparently I should know:
 - What sort of gesse are they?
 - Where do they migrate to/from?
Unfortunately she is nearly blind, so she can't describe them to me :-(

I promised to try and find out. Any ideas?
