Hi Julian
Didn't someone post a couple of days ago that the address of the Bird & Bat Banding Scheme was a GPO BOX in Canberra?

Perhaps someone in the know could put a definitive post (i know it's been done before) with a subject title of "bird banding"
and all the relevant contacts ie AWSG / B&BBanding etc???
That way it would be easy to find in the archives??

Best regards
Dave Stowe

PS - My 2007 tally is only about 10 birds so far! I have a new baby to blame!

Is anyone aware of banding activity in the Nanango, Q., area? One of our frequent visitors is a male Australian Maglie with a large metal band on his
right leg. The wording, to the best of our ability to read through
binoculars, appears to be "Canberra, GPO Box 8" and the band number is
091-30518.

We'd be interested in any information anyone can provide.
