I considered the same thing, but decided that the answer is "no".
Rose-coloured Starlings seem to be turning up all over the place
e.g. Kgalagadi National Park, South Africa:

Unless there is evidence of human intervention, it should be assumed
to be self-introduced and left to its own devices; Cattle Egrets,
Blue and white Flycatchers, Grey-headed Lapwing etc. spring to mind.
