Hi,
I suggest you read feral future by Tim Low which is a great book that talks
about lantana and other introduced weeds and pest species and what the
removal of them could mean for the animals of Australia.
Yours Sincerely

As walking through a section of Buttaba Bushland, I noted that the local
Land Care Group had cleared away some established Lantana, which is great
considering it's a weed. However my question is.... if the lantana has
been there and well established and the smaller birds, like wrens and
finches, utilize it, could it then be a negative thing to remove it? And
what research should be done before the removal?
