For the information of local birders who may be interested, June Harris and
I found a Black-tailed Godwit amongst Bar-tailed Godwits and other waders at
the high-tide roost at Lake Chickiba on Monday (27/11). Close scope views
with low afternoon sun behind us provided excellent comparison of the two
species.
