Hi Netters, Just in case you didn't hear the news. On ABC News Radio from the BBC Radio the numbers of Pied Flycatchers have crashed 90%, it is said due to global warming. When the birds migrate back to Europe to breed all the grubs have bred and gone leaving no food. At 6:30pm Friday on the ABC TV programme "Can we Help" a viewer asked "Are there any poisonous birds?" It turns out the Black, Hooded and Variable Pitohui in New Guinea are 100% poisonous. When bred in captivity they are not poisonous, so what they eat does the trick.
