Hi all A question about the naming of Wattlebirds:I have heard people talking about Little Wattlebirds as Brush Wattlebirds. Is "Brush" an old name like Warbler instead of Gerygone or is it a new split of "Little" . Morcombe shows "Western" and Little but not Brush. Also a quick walk in the bush at Westleigh (Sydney) this afternoon gave great views of a pair of Rufous Fantials, Varigated Wrens, Eastern Spinebills, Leaden Flycatcher, SPotted Pardalote, Crimson rosella and nesting Currawongs with 2 large chicks. A very pleasant 30min stroll.
