Just advising of some Glossy Ibis records from the far south west coast of Victoria which have been passed onto me. Colleague Philip Du Guesclin observed some of these waterbirds at the Eumerella wetlands west of Warrnambool a few weeks ago and Robert Farnes counted 27 Glossies at the site earlier this week. A more detailed count of the wetland will be done next week and data forwarded to the Atlas of Victorian Wildlife. cheers, Martin Martin O'Brien Wildlife Biologist - Threatened Species & Communities Section Department of Sustainability and Environment 2/8 Nicholson St., East Melbourne 3002 VICTORIA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
