Just a quick note. We have a female Australian Painted Snipe in care at the local vet in Bundaberg at the moment. The bird is receiving appropriate care we hope after talking to Dean from Birds Australia. As far as I know this is a first record in Bundaberg. It was found in poor condition and labled a 'sandpiper' at the vet's. I have some photos if interested. I will put in the appropriate sighting form this week. Cheers, Bill Moorhead Bundaberg ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
