Hi All,
Walked to work through the park this morning and saw a female Rufous Songlark,
a first for me for the area, and then followed almost immediately with another
first - a Brush Cuckoo. I heard but couldn't see the cuckoo, which, after much
running around the convoluted edge of Busby's Pond, I realised was calling from
one of the islands. Also unusual was a single Australasian Shoveler on the
Kensington Pond. Cheers.
