Hi all, This maybe one of the silliest RFIs I have submitted, however, having never been to Bangkok I am going to ask. Does anyone know of any birding spots in the middle of Bangkok? I am going for a week of meetings and will be restricted to the centre of town for all but maybe a half day. The hotel is within walking distance of something called Lumpini Park. I am vaguely optimistic because I go to Kuala Lumpur quite often and the Water Garden in the middle of town is excellent, and for a half day trip the Forest Reserve is very good. There is also good reaptor and swift watching from the hotel windows. I am hoping Bangkok will have something similar.
