Very odd so far. It shows my house, but not a bike path behind the school to
the shopping centre, the school, or the shopping centre.
As far a birding goes, the Aracuria walk, at Enogerra Dam
(See http://birdsqueensland.org.au/bq-gazetteer-seq.html#acu ) is not shown.

While on the subject of maps, the new google maps is worth looking at.

As far as I can see there's 2 ways to use it: 1. Browse: the map starts
in the US, so drag the square (bottom right corner) to Australia and
double click your way into the map until you get to your selected
location; 2. Search: type the place name, comma, and then Australia i.e.
'Neds Corner, Australia' or 'Nowingi Track, Australia or 'Paradise Rd,
Australia'. Great stuff, particularly for mud maps etc.
