Hi folks
I havent been 'birding' for very long but am keen on
wildlife photography.
My partner and I are now planning our road trip which
will commence around the 11th Nov, leaving from
Melbourne, making our way to Adelaide (visiting
rellies at Victor Harbour), then to Gluepot and then
back to Melb via Mildura. We have two weeks to do the
trip.
As much as Id like to leave things fairly flexible I
would like to have a rough itinerary so that we can
concentrate on some of the better areas rather
than unknown or non productive ones or going in
blindly. Would love to hear from anyone who has
visited any good spots in recent times that might be
worth including in our plans. I want to keep an open
mind, knowing what birds are like but prefer to visit
places where I might get some (hopefully) good
views and photos of birds. I have a soft spot for the
woodland/bush birds too.
We are using a 2wd. We have done a couple of roadtrips
(overnighters and trips closer to Melbourne) but
nothing quite like this before. I have been doing a
little bit of research but getting myself rather
overwhelmed so would love to
hear from you folk so that I can get to work on a
sensible do-able plan.
Thankyou in advance (and to those who emailed me in
response to my other post some time back)
regards
Cheryl
