Hi all,
It's a little early for xmas cheers however not too early for my traditional xmas request. I was wondering [hoping] somebody in and around Adelaide or Melbourne would be interested in a house swap post xmas for 3 weeks. I have a largish house [4 bedrooms, 3 living, 2 bth] on the Blackall Range, Sunshine Coast hinterland, circa 100km north of Brisbane, Qld. We have a good bird list for our 1/2 acre - Satin and regent bowerbirds, many parrots, pigeons and passerines and Marbled frogmouth just down the road. Mapleton Falls National Park and Forestry start 100metres and 50 metres from the house respectively. Many many good birding areas are within striking distance. We have arranged one house swap before with some NZ birders from Wellington and it was very successful [and economical]. I have a wife and two kids. We have a car or two that can also be swapped if interested.
Any enquiries please contact me asap.
Cheers,
Ken
