Richard Nowotny asked about the Nankeen Night Heron roost in the Moreton Bay figs opposite the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle.

Yes, this is a well known site. Very handy for birders in Fremantle, but usually not close to where people visit. There are other sites for NNH in the pine trees at Applecross near the South of Perth Yacht Club, the Perth Zoo, Herdsman Lake, etc.
