A further note on the Lithgow STP. Please note that the actual sewage
works are not open to public access, but the ponds can be easily
viewed from the road that goes in to the rubbish tip. Although the
gate is locked when the tip closes, it's only a couple of hundred
metres walk to a good viewing point. (And make sure your car is out
when the gate is locked. As I've mentioned previously on this forum,
a few years ago I once got locked in!)
cheers, Carol At 6:50 PM +1000 14/10/06, Evan Beaver wrote: The STW was fairly easy to find in the end, for those following our trail it's near the tip, north of the Miners Lantern on the Great Western Highway. etc.. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
