Subject: | Silver gulls feeding at Lakes Entrance |

Hi I was wondering if the Silver Gulls I saw at Lakes Entrance, in Victorias's East Gippsland, this week were exhibiting unusual behaviour. I watched a group of 6 in shallow salt water (75 mm) 'paddling' with both feet and then snapping up anything that was disturbed-I imagine (but couldn't see) small invertebrates. I haven't seen it before, but maybe...
