Yesterday morning at Penrhyn on the sandspit (high tide, easterly breeze):

Bar-tailed Godwit    46 (49 yesterday)
Red Knot                8 (7 yesterday)
White-Fronted Tern    1
Crested Tern            38
Red-Necked Stint    12
P Golden Plover         6
Other terns            Nil
Birds flagged or banded Nil
