Hi All,
The Black-eared Miner recovery team is always keen to hear of
Black-eared
Miner sightings. Best contact at present is Michael Clarke at La Trobe
University

Any or all of the following information is useful.
1) Date and time of sighting
2) Number of birds
3) Phenotypic quality (hybrid or black-eared miner and how these were
assessed)
4) Location, ideally with GPS co-ordinates but written description and
distance from landmark is also useful
5) notes on any breeding activity
6) notes on any colour bands
7) photographs of birds or habitat
8) name of observers

To assess birds in the field using a scoring sheet check out...

Regards,
Rohan Clarke
