If I'd got there early enough, the Rufous and the Blue Winged Kooka would
both be ticks for me.

The birding around Townsville has been ridiculous over the last few
months, with crippling views of absolute stunners - everything from a
Scarlet Honeyeater raiding spiders' webs, to a Rufous Owl ripping the head
off a Blue-Winged Kookaburra.
