Like Graham and David Mitford who I saw the American Golden Plover with
a few years back at Newcastle, we had one bird that Mike did note see
(sorry Mike)

But I will have to boast on this one occasion, It was certainly a
stunning bird!

Ah well perhaps we will never get to see everything in life. I certainly
will not. Sometimes you have to be at the right time at right place to
see these rarities. 

If the American Golden Plover still sticks around, I hope so as I would
like others to see it, I would not mind another look at this bird.

Bugger, this is the only bird I had that Mike Carter didn't. And while I

will never have a list anywhere near his (and many others) this did
bring me 
some little comfort.

And I thought I wasn't really a twitcher....
