Well John, at least two were there for a while yesterday. I received the
following note, in part copied below. Terry & Lyn also attached a photo.

"Two Antarctic Terns were
seen on the rocks below the viewing platform.  Both had flown off out to
sea by 10:15am, and had not returned by 11:45am.

Of note is that there were no terns roosting on the landward side of
Casuarina island.  A quite strong wind was blowing off  KI  from the NW
thus blowing onto the north-facing side of  the offshore islands. A
mixed flock of several hundred Crested and White-fronted Terns sheltered
on the rocks below us on the viewing platform.
