Hi Birders,After the first excitement of two seperate sightings of Channel-billed Cuckoos in the Newcastle- Sydney Region at the end of August, begining of Sept, all has gone quiet on that front. Until yesterday morning that is, when at 5.20 am a Channel-billed Cuckoo was busy calling around Bateau Bay NSW. Not heard this morning but then it was raining here this morning.
