Hi Owl Fans, I've been having an owl of a year this year, particularly in sunny Victoria. So far in 2006 I've seen (in chronological order) Boobook, Powerful, Barking, Rufous (the only non-Vic owl, seen in Darwin), Grass, Barn and Sooty Owl. Interestingly, in just the last 2 weeks, I've seen Grass, Barn, Barking and Sooty Owl.
