hi all last saturday i saw a bird , like a grey shrike thrush with a long tail, fly off a oad inot the bush beside it. i was going 100kph so diddnt get too gooder look, but it had a longer tail. this was near nerrim south, west gippsland. also last saturday, i saw a dull green crow like bird at woods point, north of moe. it was ~magpie size, dull green and hopped through the willows, perfectly camoflauged when still. last sunday a shining bronze cuckoo flew into a window at home. i took it inside and it recovered, shat on the kitcken bench and flew out the door! an interesting way to arrive back after a migration, eh! ta kev =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
