A quick first trip for the season to Farquhar Inlet, Old Bar (NSW) identified a few early arrivals and according to plumage the Double-banded's almost ready to leave. As brief list is below; 10 -12 Pacific Golden Plovers 1 Greater Sand Plover 25-30 Bar-tailed Godwits 8- 10 Double-banded Plovers in full breeding plumage. 4-5 Eastern Curlews 20 -30 Red-necked Stints. The Little Terns haven't arrived but a couple of Common Terns were amoung the Crested's, as were a pair of Caspians.
