The day we went there was a 40deg plus day so the walk from the camping
area was just too much.
We got half way, turned back, and took the helicopter ride which gave us
more views of the falls than were possible from the ground. Excellent.
Got the Black Grasswren next morning too.

Hi All, just returned from a fabulous 10 day Kimberly bird tour with the
great George Swan. 
The only black spot on the tour was to find four helicopters hovering
over Mitchell falls constantly, how did they ever get away with that
type of tourist intrusion in such a magnificent place. We should all
send a protest to the relevant minister, I will be.
