Evan, I watch many Silver Gulls down at Penrhyn Estuary at Botany bay and regularly see gulls such as that shown. Sadly, all so far on closer examination are oil-stained as I believe this bird to be. An interesting bird currently has a distinctly hooked raptoresques beak. Cheers, Graham Buchan |
