G'day friends Grass Owl Western Treatment Plant The Grass Owl was again seen at Spit, taking flight at 6:20pm, west of the information sign. At 7:00 pm John & Sue O'Malley and Mike Tarburton saw the bird twice over the track that runs parallel (immediately south) to Austin Road, near the entrance gate to the Spit. We also saw a Barn Owl on the north side of Austin Road, where John Harris was adding the Barn Owl to the other owld for his 2006 list.
