That would depend on what part of Sydney you are leaving from, and the time of your departure [it may take an hour or more to clear Sydney if you leave at the wrong time]. It will probably involve 6-8 hours driving time to get there. Where you stay overnight would depend on when you leave Sydney and when you find the bird. If you find the bird early in the afternoon, you may wish to start heading back and stay at Narrabri etc.
