A friend from NT sent the following. Cheers BobGreat Bowerbirds are also known to mimic. A fond memory is of a great bowerbird mimicking a whistling kite note perfect at Victoria River Roadhouse. The range of calls of the Great is amazing with some incredibly pleasant notes compared to the more typical screech.
