Hi all, I Tried to send this email last week but I think it failed. Just wanted to thank those from Brisbane who gave me tips for a few spots close to the CBD. Due to limited time there was nothing too spectacular when I visited the Botanical's and Roma Parklands but did enjoy the Bush Stone-curlew in the Bot. Gardens. A tough bird down here in SA due to it's threatened status but scored 3 dopey little numbers in one of beds opposite the bamboo. No doubt a regular sighting here... Also got very close views of a Buff-banded Rail feeding fearlessly in the leaf litter of the small section of rainforest close to the mangroves. Thanks again. Cheers, Andrew. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
