This is a somewhat belated record of a Spotted Crake seen at Burren Junction on Sunday 28th July. It was seen before we saw the Grey headed Lapwing and sort of got overlooked in the excitement. It was seen a shallow pond south of the road, between the road and the railway line. This is across the road from the RSL Club. There is some sort of railway shed just west of the site. There won't be any problem finding the site. As everybody has discovered BJ is not a big place!!
