The RNA have been at Homebush for at least 4 years, maybe 5. Numbers
have been from 5 to 40. This is the largest number that I have heard
reported. It's a nice spot to bird ! I suggest you contact Judy H and
  explore the area.

    >Hi all,
    >visited Bicentennial Gardens at Homebush, Sydney for the first
time today and saw a roosting flock (approx. 40) Red-necked
Avocets. Are they a common sight there?
