Hi all,

No news to anyone familiar with the Sherwood Arboretum, but I had great
looks at a Bush Hen skulking around the edges of one of the lakes (the North
one, I was on the land bridge). My first actual look at the bird, and it
was smaller than I expected. I'd heard them calling from less than 2m from
my feet before, so this was a particularly satisfying tick!

Also for those interested saw a Water Rat foraging along one of the
islands. Another first for me, but unmistakable with the white tail tip.

Regards,
Chris
