Re Andrew Plimer's RFI for Brisbane, in March last year I visited the Roma Street Parklands, which are built on the old rail yards just outside the CBD (about a 10 minute walk from the Hilton, where I was staying) - my brief report on that is in the archives, which was part of a circa March 2005 thread discussing birding in and about the centre of Brisbane.
