Hello bird lovers, Lorne here,

Further to Grant Brosie's postings on his miraculous sightings in the
suburb of Ashbury, in Sydney's inner-west, my home suburb, I'd like to
say that it does have a hell of a lot of spotted-turtle doves, crested
pigeons, Indian mynahs, noisy miners and the like, but it does get the
odd interesting bird... like rainbow lorikeet and pied currawong... and
New Holland and White-plumed Honeyeater... and osprey, white-breasetd
sea-eagle and peregrine falcon... and pied butcherbird!!

Have a good weekend wherever you are in this beautiful country.
