Just a short note to let everyone know that the Eremaea Birds web site is now
free.

Eremaea Birds (http://www.eremaea.com) is a global bird atlas and personal
birding records database built entirely from member's bird lists. Members
create sites to which other members can contribute surveys, thereby helping
build up comprehensive species lists for each site. Species lists are now
available for well over 4000 sites. You can obtain site and species
distribution maps, extract your own life lists and birding statistics, elect to
receive email notification of recent sightings of species of interest to you,
and much more. Sites and surveys are moderated to maintain the quality of the
atlas.

Eremaea Birds also supports several "Birdline" web sites for Australian states.
