On the topic of this species, I saw a flock of close to 100 birds fly
over Quambee Reserve in Ringwood North on Saturday afternoon. An
unusually large number for suburban Melbourne in my experience.

Nice to hear then see a flock of 10 Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo's
flying
south over Melbourne suburb Richmond yesterday. The species is becoming
a
regular winter visitor to the suburb and is often associated with the
Yarra River bushland corridor.
