Can anyone help Kerry out? It's a bit far from my birding-range. The bird in question was a male Rufous Whistler. Please email Kerry directly on kandrtonkin at bigpond dot com can you help me identify this bird? it seems always to be on its own and makes a loud cheeee similar to a young Hawke. i think it is new to the area. i moved here a few years ago and have become interested in the bird life. i am in far western new south wales in the menindee area. also do you have any list of birds i am likely to find in this area.thanks kerry -- ******************************** Tom & Marie Tarrant Samsonvale, Qld http://www.aviceda.org ******************************** ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
