Hi Folks, A few days ago, I posted a link to some pics of an immature Eastern Spinebill feeding in my garden. Thanks to those who responded. I was lucky enough this morning to get some much better photos of him including one interesting image that shows how the pollen from the correa flowers the bird is feeding on are transported from one flower to the next. The yellow pollen can be clearly seen on the birds face. http://mc2.vicnet.net.au/home/cammo57/web/spinebills.html Cheers, David Cameron Hamilton, Vic =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
